Anti-LAG2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LAG2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GNLY gene, which encodes granulysin. This protein is reported to be an antimicrobial protein that kills intracellular pathogens. The human version of LAG2 has a canonical amino acid length of 145 residues and a protein mass of 16.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the bone marrow and endometrium. Other names for this target antigen include D2S69E and LAG-2. Indicated applications for LAG2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot.
