Anti-HO3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HO3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HARS2 gene, which encodes histidyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial. This protein is known to function in protein translation, among other biological roles. The human version of HO3 has a canonical amino acid length of 506 residues and a protein mass of 56.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HARSL and HARSR. Indicated applications for HO3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
