Anti-H1F2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target H1F2 is a known alias name of the protein H1.2 linker histone, cluster member, encoded by the H1-2 gene in humans. This 213-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for H1F2 include H1.2 and H1C. A number of H1F2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
