Anti-CAB-1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CAB-1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CACNB1 gene, which encodes calcium voltage-gated channel auxiliary subunit beta 1. This protein is known to function in chemical synaptic transmission, among other biological roles. The human version of CAB-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 598 residues and a protein mass of 65.7 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum, tonsil, and bronchus. CAB-1 is a member of the Calcium channel beta subunit protein family. Indicated applications for CAB-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
