Anti-C4ST antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target C4ST is a known alias name of the protein carbohydrate sulfotransferase 11, encoded by the CHST11 gene in humans. This 352-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the transfer of sulfate to position 4 of the N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) residue of chondroitin. It is localized to the Golgi of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The term C4ST-1 is another synonym for C4ST. Indicated applications for C4ST antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
