Anti-MHP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MHP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CACNA1A gene, which encodes calcium voltage-gated channel subunit alpha1 A. This protein is known to function in chemical synaptic transmission and the regulation of intracellular calcium, among other biological roles. The human version of MHP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 2506 residues and a protein mass of 282.6 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the liver, duodenum, and cerebellum. Other names for this target antigen include APCA, APCA, and BI. Indicated applications for MHP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
