Anti-HPC11 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HPC11 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HNF1B gene, which encodes HNF1 homeobox B. This protein is known to function in hepatocyte differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of HPC11 has a canonical amino acid length of 557 residues and a protein mass of 61.3 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon and gallbladder. Other names for this target antigen include ADTKD3, FJHN, and HNF-1-beta. Western Blot is the most common application for the HPC11 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
