Anti-HNF3beta antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HNF3beta antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FOXA2 gene, which encodes forkhead box A2. This protein is known to function in the morphogenesis of anatomical structure and cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of HNF3beta has a canonical amino acid length of 457 residues and a protein mass of 48.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the lung, fallopian tube, endometrium, colon, and bronchus. Other names for this target antigen include HNF3B and TCF3B.
