Anti-HPTP-BETA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HPTP-BETA is a known alias name of the protein protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type B, encoded by the PTPRB gene in humans. This 1997-amino acid residue protein is known to play an important role in blood vessel remodeling and angiogenesis. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. The term HPTPB is another synonym for HPTP-BETA.
