Anti-HAP95 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HAP95 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AKAP8L gene, which encodes A-kinase anchoring protein 8 like. This protein is known to function in mRNA processing and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of HAP95 has a canonical amino acid length of 646 residues and a protein mass of 71.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HA95 and HA95.
