Anti-JEDI antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the JEDI antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PEAR1 gene, which encodes platelet endothelial aggregation receptor 1. The human version of JEDI has a canonical amino acid length of 1037 residues and a protein mass of 110.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the placenta, lung, kidney, gallbladder, and cerebellum. JEDI is a member of the MEGF protein family.
