Anti-HARSR antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HARSR is a known alias name of the protein histidyl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial, encoded by the HARS2 gene in humans. This 506-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in protein translation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for HARSR include HARSL and HO3.
