Anti-FOXM1B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FOXM1B is a known alias name of the protein forkhead box M1, encoded by the FOXM1 gene in humans. This 763-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a transcription factor regulating the expression of cell cycle genes essential for DNA replication and mitosis. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in thymus, testis, small intestine, colon followed by ovary. Other synonyms for FOXM1B include FKHL16 and FOXM1A. Western Blot is the most common application for the FOXM1B antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
