Anti-E2-2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the E2-2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TCF4 gene, which encodes transcription factor 4. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and nervous system development, among other biological roles. The human version of E2-2 has a canonical amino acid length of 667 residues and a protein mass of 71.3 kilodaltons, although 16 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CDG2T and FCD2. These E2-2 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
