Anti-DG1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The DG1 antigen is another term for the human protein desmoglein 1, encoded by the DSG1 gene. The protein is known to be a component of intercellular desmosome junctions. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1049 residues and a mass of 113.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and it is expressed in the vagina, skin, oral mucosa, esophagus, and cervix. Other alias names for DG1 include CDHF4 and DSG. Western Blot is the most common application for the DG1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
