Anti-BVRA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target BVRA is a known alias name of the protein biliverdin reductase A, encoded by the BLVRA gene in humans. This 296-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Gfo/Idh/MocA protein family. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the liver. Other synonyms for BVRA include BLVR and BVR. Some BVRA antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
