This target is a reported synonym of the ATP1B2 gene, which encodes ATPase Na+/K+ transporting subunit beta 2. This protein is known to function in neuronal development, among other biological roles. The human version of Amog has a canonical amino acid length of 290 residues and a protein mass of 33.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the cerebral cortex and retina.
