Anti-CB1R antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CB1R is a known alias name of the protein cannabinoid receptor 1, encoded by the CNR1 gene in humans. This 472-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in pathways of aging and carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria and cell membrane of the cell and features palmitoylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in fetal and adult brain. Other synonyms for CB1R include CANN6, CB-R, and CB1. Indicated applications for CB1R antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
