Anti-CYP4F antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CYP4F antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CYP4F3 gene, which encodes cytochrome P450 family 4 subfamily F member 3. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of CYP4F has a canonical amino acid length of 520 residues and a protein mass of 59.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the rectum, liver, duodenum, colon, and bone marrow. Other names for this target antigen include CPF3 and CYPIVF3. Indicated applications for CYP4F antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot.
