Anti-end1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target end1 is a known alias name of the protein VPS11 core subunit of CORVET and HOPS complexes, encoded by the VPS11 gene in humans. This 941-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in vesicle-mediated protein trafficking to lysosomal compartments including the endocytic membrane transport and autophagic pathways.
