Anti-FAM4A antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FAM4A antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ST7 gene, which encodes suppression of tumorigenicity 7. This protein is known to function in extracellular matrix organization and the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of FAM4A has a canonical amino acid length of 585 residues and a protein mass of 67.2 kilodaltons, although 7 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. This target antigen may also be known as ETS7q. Indicated applications for FAM4A antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
