Anti-dGK antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target dGK is a known alias name of the protein diacylglycerol kinase beta, encoded by the DGKB gene in humans. This 804-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a diacylglycerol kinase that converts diacylglycerol/DAG into phosphatidic acid/phosphatidate/PA and regulates the respective levels of these two bioactive lipids. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell.
