Anti-DENTS antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The DENTS antigen is another term for the human protein chloride voltage-gated channel 5, encoded by the CLCN5 gene. The protein is known to function in endocytosis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 816 residues and a mass of 90.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi and cell membrane. The DENTS protein is a member of the Chloride channel (TC 2.A.49) protein family. Other alias names for DENTS include CLC5, CLCK2, and ClC-5.
