Anti-C32 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C32 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CKLF gene, which encodes chemokine like factor. This protein is believed to play an important role in inflammation and regeneration of skeletal muscle. The human version of C32 has a canonical amino acid length of 152 residues and a protein mass of 17.2 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein. C32 is a member of the Chemokine-like factor protein family.
