Anti-BRGL antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BRGL antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ACSBG2 gene, which encodes acyl-CoA synthetase bubblegum family member 2. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and fatty acid metabolism, among other biological roles. The human version of BRGL has a canonical amino acid length of 666 residues and a protein mass of 74.4 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis. BRGL is a member of the ATP-dependent AMP-binding enzyme protein family. Indicated applications for BRGL antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
