Anti-B55ALPHA antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the B55ALPHA antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PPP2R2A gene, which encodes protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit Balpha. This protein is known to function in protein dephosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of B55ALPHA has a canonical amino acid length of 447 residues and a protein mass of 51.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified.
