Anti-Ach1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Ach1 antigen is another term for the human protein acyl-CoA thioesterase 7, encoded by the ACOT7 gene. The protein is known to catalyze the hydrolysis of acyl-CoAs into free fatty acids and coenzyme A (CoASH), regulating their respective intracellular levels. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 380 residues and a mass of 41.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and cytoplasm and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum. Other alias names for Ach1 include ACT. Indicated applications for Ach1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
