Anti-Bimp2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Bimp2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CARD14 gene, which encodes caspase recruitment domain family member 14. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of Bimp2 has a canonical amino acid length of 1004 residues and a protein mass of 113.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the Bimp2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
