Anti-B56G antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target B56G is a known alias name of the protein protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit B'gamma, encoded by the PPP2R5C gene in humans. This 524-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in DNA damage pathways and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the heart, skeletal muscle and brain. Indicated applications for B56G antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
