Anti-ASLN antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ASLN is a known alias name of the protein collagen type IV alpha 5 chain, encoded by the COL4A5 gene in humans. This 1685-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in extracellular matrix organization, among other biological processes. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. The term ATS is another synonym for ASLN. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the ASLN antibodies listed below. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
