Anti-Arch antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Arch antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZBTB8OS gene, which encodes zinc finger and BTB domain containing 8 opposite strand. This protein is a known component of the tRNA-splicing ligase complex required to facilitate the enzymatic turnover of catalytic subunit RTCB. The human version of Arch has a canonical amino acid length of 167 residues and a protein mass of 19.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow and cerebral cortex. Arch is a member of the Archease protein family.
