Anti-ACAP4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ACAP4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ASAP3 gene, which encodes ArfGAP with SH3 domain, ankyrin repeat and PH domain 3. This protein is known to function in cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of ACAP4 has a canonical amino acid length of 903 residues and a protein mass of 99.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the smooth muscle, skeletal muscle, lung, heart muscle, and colon.
