Anti-AiPLA2 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene PRDX6, or 'peroxiredoxin 6' in humans. The 224-amino acid protein is a member of the Peroxiredoxin family, Prx6 subfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic.
