Anti-PDE7 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PDE7 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PDE7A gene, which encodes phosphodiesterase 7A. This protein is reported to hydrolyze the second messenger cAMP, which is a key regulator of many important physiological processes. The human version of PDE7 has a canonical amino acid length of 482 residues and a protein mass of 55.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the heart muscle and placenta. This target antigen may also be known as HCP1. Indicated applications for PDE7 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
