Anti-CLA1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CLA1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PMPCA gene, which encodes peptidase, mitochondrial processing subunit alpha. The human version of CLA1 has a canonical amino acid length of 525 residues and a protein mass of 58.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. CLA1 is a member of the Peptidase M16 protein family. Indicated applications for CLA1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
