Anti-RIMBP3B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RIMS binding protein 3B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1639 amino acid residues and a mass of 181 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in the testis. A member of the RIMBP protein family, RIMBP3B is a suspected component of the manchette, a microtubule-based structure which plays a key role in sperm head morphogenesis during late stages of sperm development. Synonyms for this target antigen include RIMS binding protein 3.2.
