Anti-ME20M antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ME20M is a known alias name of the protein premelanosome protein, encoded by the PMEL gene in humans. This 661-amino acid residue protein is a member of the PMEL/NMB protein family. It is localized to the ER, Golgi, and is secreted of the cell and features O-glycosylated and cleaved post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the skin. Other synonyms for ME20M include D12S53E, HMB-45, and HMB45. Indicated applications for ME20M antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
