Anti-Hyl antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Hyl is a known alias name of the protein megakaryocyte-associated tyrosine kinase, encoded by the MATK gene in humans. This 507-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be play a significant role in the signal transduction of hematopoietic cells. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in various myeloid cell lines, detected in the brain and lung. Other synonyms for Hyl include CHK, CTK, and HHYLTK. Western Blot is the most common application for the Hyl antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
