Anti-LCHAD antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LCHAD is a known alias name of the protein hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase trifunctional multienzyme complex subunit alpha, encoded by the HADHA gene in humans. This 763-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the response to xenobiotic compounds, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for LCHAD include ECHA, ECHA, and GBP. Indicated applications for LCHAD antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
