Anti-NHE8 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NHE8 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC9A8 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 9 member A8. This protein is known to function in the transport of ions and potassium ion transport, among other biological roles. The human version of NHE8 has a canonical amino acid length of 581 residues and a protein mass of 65.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, Golgi, and cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebral cortex, vagina, and caudate. This target antigen may also be known as NHE-8. Indicated applications for NHE8 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
