Anti-CLEC18B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein C-type lectin domain family 18 member B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 455 amino acid residues and a mass of 50.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER, Golgi, and is secreted. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. CLEC18B is known to bind polysaccharides in a Ca(2+)-independent manner (By similarity). Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include mannose receptor-like protein 1, secretory protein LOC497190, and mannose receptor-like 2. CLEC18B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Indicated applications for CLEC18B antibodies listed below include Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
