Anti-GSK3 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene GSK3B, or 'glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta' in humans. The 420-amino acid protein is a member of the Protein kinase superfamily, CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family, GSK-3 subfamily and the GSK3 antigen is a documented neurodegenerative marker. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic, nuclear and membrane-associated.
