Anti-MMS21 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MMS21 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NSMCE2 gene, which encodes NSE2 (MMS21) homolog, SMC5-SMC6 complex SUMO ligase. This protein is known to function in the cell cycle, among other biological roles. The human version of MMS21 has a canonical amino acid length of 247 residues and a protein mass of 27.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. MMS21 is a member of the NSE2 protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the MMS21 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Flow Cytometry are also common applications.
