Anti-Pontin antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Pontin antigen is another term for the human protein RuvB like AAA ATPase 1, encoded by the RUVBL1 gene. The protein is known to function in the cell cycle, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 456 residues and a mass of 50.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The Pontin protein is a member of the RuvB protein family. Other alias names for Pontin include ECP-54, ECP54, and INO80H. Western Blot is the most common application for the Pontin antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
