Anti-ACF1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ACF1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BAZ1A gene, which encodes bromodomain adjacent to zinc finger domain 1A. This protein is known to function in chromatin remodeling and DNA replication, among other biological roles. The human version of ACF1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1556 residues and a protein mass of 178.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include WALp1 and WCRF180.
