Anti-ACC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ACC is a known alias name of the protein BMS1 ribosome biogenesis factor, encoded by the BMS1 gene in humans. This 1282-amino acid residue protein is known to be a part of the small subunit (SSU) processome, first precursor of the small eukaryotic ribosomal subunit. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell.
