Anti-A-kinase anchoring protein 13 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene AKAP13 in humans. The gene may also be known as AKAP-Lbc, c-lbc, HA3, PROTO-LB, A-kinase anchor protein 13, and AKAP-13. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 307.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
