Anti-GSTCD antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein glutathione S-transferase C-terminal domain containing. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 633 amino acid residues and a mass of 71.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be widely expressed in cell types relevant to airway function, including airway smooth muscle cells and epithelial cells. It is a member of the GSTCD protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include glutathione S-transferase C-terminal domain-containing protein. GSTCD gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some GSTCD antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
