Anti-CPG2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CPG2 is a known alias name of the protein spectrin repeat containing nuclear envelope protein 1, encoded by the SYNE1 gene in humans. This 8797-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in Golgi organization and muscle cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in HeLa, A431, A172 and HaCaT cells. Other synonyms for CPG2 include 8B, AMC3, and AMCM. Indicated applications for CPG2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
