Anti-FLK1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FLK1 antigen is another term for the human protein kinase insert domain receptor, encoded by the KDR gene. The protein is reported to be a tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as a cell-surface receptor for VEGFA, VEGFC and VEGFD. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1356 residues and a mass of 151.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, and cell membrane and it is notably expressed in cornea. The FLK1 protein is a member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family. Other alias names for FLK1 include CD309 and CD309. Some FLK1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
